About Me

Menlo Park

From 2008-2019, I have been a Site Director at Adolescent Counseling Services, supervising interns at Palo Alto High School, Redwood High School, Green Middle School and Fletcher Middle School. My most recent position has been managing the counseling program and supervising interns at La Entrada Middle School in Menlo Park.

From 2005-2008, I was a clinician at Esther B. Clark School in Palo Alto (part of Children’s Health Council), a therapeutic day school for special needs children and adolescents. I provided individual, group and family therapy at EBC for students from ages 9 to 17.

My five years at Pyramid Alternatives, a non-profit agency in Pacifica (2000-2005), provided me with an opportunity to work with a diverse population in an outpatient mental health clinic for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. In addition, I provided on-site counseling at a variety of elementary, middle and high schools and taught a first offender DUI group.

Additional training and experience has included working for the City & County of San Francisco’s Employee Assistance Program, (1999), where I provided short-term individual, group, couples and family therapy for city employees. I have also worked with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents in two different group homes in San Francisco, (1998), and my first internship was with Adolescent Counseling Services in Palo Alto at Gunn High School, in 1998, providing individual and group counseling.
